A familiar view for many. I try to get this shot every time I drive in. It's amazing to see the seasons and landscape change as time passes.

Trail Ridge Road might be closed in the winter, but I enjoy walking up for the views of the Mummy Range and Hidden Valley. Ypsilon Mountain is in the distance.

Way up on the side of the hill in the distance is Trail Ridge Road. This was taken from beside the sledding hill in Hidden Valley. Off to my left is the snowy slope covered in sledders of all ages.

I love the clouds in the mountains! Here, Moraine Park doesn't have much snow and it looks like winter is blowing away.... Not for long, March brings inches of snow every year.

This little friend joined me while I ate my lunch by the Big Thompson River. Magpies are everywhere in the park this winter! This picture really does no justice to the shiny blue hue of some of his wing feathers.
