| Each year the Nu Chapter of Sigma Alpha hosts its annual Dollar Drive Philanthropy Event. This year our chapter is proud to support agriculture across the world by donating the proceeds from this year’s Dollar Drive to Heifer International. | |||
| Heifer International is a non-profit organization with a proven solution to ending world hunger and poverty that has helped 10.5 million families in more than 125 countries become self reliant through gifts of livestock and training in their care. Recipients are also trained in environmentally sound agricultural practices so they can lift themselves out of poverty and become self-reliant. Milk, eggs, wool, meat, draft power and other benefits of animals provide nutrition and money for education, housing, health care and small business enterprises. In 2008, Heifer International had active projects in 54 countries and 27 states. | |||
| The Dollar Drive is a simple event, our chapter is asking that you donate one dollar or more to support this amazing cause. This year we are excited that you can donate in two ways: 1) You can mail a check to our office at the address listed below. 2) You can make an online donation by following this LINK.
