CURRENTLY RANKED # 3 IN THE NATION

WE WELCOME NEW PLAYERS WITH OPEN ARMS
FALL BALL BEGINNING IN SEPTEMBER

Welcome! ...and thanks for your interest in playing on the CSU Women's Club Lacrosse team!

The first informational meeting about the team is August 28th at 7 pm in the Rec Center lounge.

We welcome freshman and upperclassman, experienced and brand-new players who have never held a stick before, to come out for the team. We currently have a "no-cut" policy and are very eager to introduce the sport to new players or to just help you improve your game. In the last couple of years in fact, we've had players just learn the sport in the Fall who are starting on Varsity by Spring season! We are a very open, friendly team (no room for snobs or elitists on a Championship team you know!) and would love to meet you. Please contact us with any questions. RECAP OF THE LAST YEAR'S AMAZING 2005 - 2006 SEASON

2005-2006 CSU Women's Lacrosse Team at the WDIA Nationals Banquet

Wow... Once again, the team has had a completely amazing year. In the end, our record was 24 - 2. We won our division (Rocky Mountain Women's Lacrosse League - RMWLL) for the third straight year and won the 2nd Annual "Battle of the Rockies" against the University of Colorado. In addition to that, our team received the nation's Offense Player of the Year (Kate Sebesta), Mid-field Player of the Year (Dana Nilson), Goalkeeper of the Year (Brooke Lewis) and for the second year running our team President, Jen Gunlikson, won the USL-WDIA MVP award.

It was just such a great season -- with amazing trips to Utah, Arizona and Maryland for tourneys, and our first highly-successful "Battle of the Rockies" tourney that we hosted. The seniors graduate having never lost to our in-state rival CU (even after having to play them three times their last year -- including their final game!) From being totally unranked four years ago to currently ranked #3 in the nation has been quite a ride! All in all, last year was one of the most spectacular teams and seasons I've ever had the privilege to be a part of.

We want to say a HUGE Thank You to all our supporters from last year... we can't wait to see you out here again this year. You all were so amazing and I know how much you helped inspire the team. We're SO PROUD of our girls. They represented CSU with so much class, dignity, spirit and heart. Time & time again at Nationals I was told how much other teams enjoyed playing us because of the quality and sportmanship of the team. It was an amazing season -- one everyone should always be proud of.

2005-2006 BIG FUNDRAISING DRIVE
AMOUNT RAISED = OVER $ 8,000 !! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO OUR SUPPORTERS!!

To our Amazing Fans & Supporters:

Playing lacrosse at Colorado State is a great experience and we are so proud to be a part of the team. But being a college athlete today - especially for a club team like ours - isn’t just about putting on a uniform and scoring goals. Budgets are tight, so we have plenty of work to do off the field, too.

This year, we will again be trying to raise money so we can travel to play some of the top teams in the country outside our region. We need help because we get very little money from the school. Therefore, we all pay individual fees to just to play plus we have to raise money to get through the season. For example, one home game can cost $300 (referee fees) and one away trip out of state can cost upwards of $5,000! That’s why your help -- even a small donation -- can make such a big difference to us.

Thank you in advance -- We really appreciate your support!
