Homework assignments will be deposited on the instructor's desk at the beginning of the lecture on the due date. Turning in an assignment at the end of the lecture will result in an automatic 20% reduction of its grade. There will be an additional 20% grade reduction for each day an assignment is delayed. A special simulation homework assignment is discussed in a separate handout. In addition to homework assignments, each team will complete in-class exercises and turn them in at the end of the session when they are performed (read the teamwork policyfor more explanation on teams). These assignments will not be graded, but will indicate the members of the team present at the time. Including the name of an absent member will result in the loss of 5% of the final grade for the whole group. |
