Agave with pollinators (note black dots by flowers)

  Mammilaria cactus (I think)

  A cucurbit

  Mistletoe on a pine tree

  A mint covered with beetles

A lupin also covered with beetles

  A spiderwort

  Geranium

  Silene

  Agave with leaf scars

  Oxytropis

  A mimosa

An agave - one of my favorite pictures!

  A very spiny cactus

I think this is a Diodia or buttonweed

An interesting Oenothera - note the crab spider hanging out on the back side of the stem

Ok, so this is a lichen and not a plant

  More cool lichens

And finally a decent Penstemon shot after many in which my camera focused on anything but the plant

A nice cacuts.  I think Alain may have found Trachymyrmex under the grass clump in this picture.  Or else it was another grass clump and cactus much like these.  ;)

The columbine that was in the soda bottle by the phones

Some cool hawkmoth flowers - possibly Mirabilis?
