Young's Gulch is located in
Roosovelt National Forest. I've camped in the area twice, and hiked
it four times. My first solo backpacking trip was up this trail (psuedo-solo;
I had Frank along). The other time I backpacked with Mark.
Mark and I also day-hiked it several years back where I met a German
Shorthaired Pointer that inspired me to get Frankie.
Here's a few shots of a wonderful camping place.
Now here's the archetype for a frosty morning by the campfire.
It doesn't
get any better than this. That's me warming up
there.
Early morning on a spring day in the forest.
