Mt. McConnell is a poorly-maintained trail just off Hwy 14 near the entrance to Pingree Park. I hiked it in May 1997 with Mom, but we didn't go very far before it began to rain. Dave Burns and I hiked to the top of said feature in the summer of 1997, although we lost the trail at the top and could not take the loop all the way. All in all, a boring trail with little scenery and too many oppurtunities to hear cars racing along the blacktop below.
