National PRSSA

National Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) was founded in 1986 by Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). PRSSA was developed to provide relationships between public relations students and professional public relations practitioners. Today, there are more than 9,600 members in 284 Chapters on college campuses in the country.

PRSSA aims to provide the understanding of current theories and procedures of the public relations profession, teaches the appreciation of ethical ideals and principles in public relations, and provides an awareness of an appropriate professional attitude.  

Every year PRSSA hosts a National Conference for students interested in networking with public relations pros from across the nation and to learn more about the current trends in the public relations industry.
