Current Position: PR Expert, Xstatic Public Relations and 2008 PRSA Rookie of the Year

PRSSA was a major component to my professional success today. I got involved in some exciting programs and met many of the professionals I now call friends and co-workers. PRSSA offers many valuable resources for students including endless networking opportunities, internships, access to conferences, workshops and competitions. I think every student should be as involved as possible. In 2005 I chaired the NODAC fundraising and awareness campaign to promote organ donation, earning Colorado State University PRSSA first place in the country and I learned a lot about myself and the art of public relations. I attribute most of my success to the experiences and people I met through PRSSA and continue to stay involved in PRSA as a professional. We would love to see more students at luncheons and events in Denver - this is one more way to get involved!
