Sarah Navratil

President

Bio: Hi everyone, my name is Sarah Navratil and I am your new President for 2009-2010! This year I am a fifth year Biology major. Although I could have graduated last year I just can't seem to leave yet! Apart from classes and our wonderful club, I also work at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital with Dr. Turner and with the WildKind Program at the Larimer Humane Society, where I get to play with lots of baby animals. Some other interests of mine are dance, reading, movies and spending time with the people and animals I love. I also really enjoy acting and am so excited to take the beginning acting class here at CSU this year! I am so honored to be your president this year and promise to work hard to meet and exceed the standards set by all previous officers. I look forward to another fabulous year with the Pre-Vet Club.

Jeff Sarek

Vice President

Bio: Hi, my name is Jeff Sarek and I am the Vice President of the CSU Pre-Vet Club for the 2009-2010 school years. This is my second year as an officer and I am very excited to see what this year will bring for our club. It seems to get better every year. As an officer, I am also very excited to be a part of a great officer team that I know will make this club continue to keep its excellent reputation on campus. I am an upcoming junior majoring in microbiology and look forward to the continuing challenges and school work ahead. During the summer and throughout the school year I work at Blue Sky Animal Clinic in Loveland, CO, and I love being around animals. I mean who doesn't!!! Along with work and playing with my two dogs, Rudy (Bischon) and Hollie (Beagle), I enjoy water skiing, golf, running, and camping. As vet school draws closer and hopefully admission into the vet school here at CSU, I am undecided as to exactly what I want to do in veterinary medicine. However, I feel it would probably be in the small animal department or maybe with exotics, and with a possible specialty in surgery. I enjoyed being an officer and a member of the Pre-Vet Club last year and I know will love it this year too! Feel free to ask me for anything, especially for help of any kind, and I look forward to seeing all of the returning members along with all the new potential members of this outstanding club/organization.
