Help kids realize their full potential...09-25-07

Our VP of Preparing for College Success (Jenika Howe) has two opportunities for all members to participate in. The first is a school mentoring program where you can tutor junior high students once a week in various academic areas. This is to help students realize that they too can attend college.

The second opportunity is to participate in the Preparing for College Success March to College Day planning committee. You would help put on a one day event where local schools come to find out about college (they tour around campus, see mock lectures, and info sessions about various aspects of college). This is to help students realize that they can go to college, what is required to get into college, any financial considerations, and get them excited to attend college.

If you would like to participate in either of these opportunities please contact Jenika at jlhowe@simla.colostate.edu. You can help these kids realize their full potential, so get involved today!
