About CSU's Chapter
Events
The Colorado State University chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) honors students who have displayed high scholastic achievement, community service, and personal integrity. Members are invited from the national office to be a member for life with many opportunities and advantages in college and after graduation. Our 2007 induction convocation in the fall gave a chance for family and friends to congratulate these students for all they have attained. As members you have access to scholarships, study abroad opportunities, internships, and more. This spring 2007 semester we have more events and socials for members to take advantage of for fun as well as to improve themselves for post-graduation. Meetings will be held twice a month in Clark A 207 at 7:00pm.
NSCS is a great way to give back to your community, learn leadership skills, meet new people, and create great memories that you can take with you for the rest of your life. We encourage all members to participate as much as they can, whether it is one activity a semester or year, or participating in every activity possible. This is the best way to make your experience meaningful and valuable in NSCS.
Members of NSCS who earn 200 points through participation in community service or Planning for College Success events and attending meetings receive a free honor cord for graduation. Those members who would like an honor cord but have less than 200 points can purchase them for $20. Click here if you would like more information about the graduation honor cords.
We encourage all to start participating today and join in on the fun!
