Free Graduation Cords

To earn free graduation cords members can accumulate 200 points by the time they graduate by attending meetings, socials, and participating in community service activities. Meetings and socials are usually around 10 points, and community service events may be up to 50 points if they are long and require a lot of strenuous work, but are usually 20 to 30 points. To achieve this though, we do require members to earn exactly or above 200 points by the time they graduate, we want to make sure your time in NSCS is meaningful and that members take away many great memories.

We do ask though, when you sign up to an event, you make sure you follow through and attend the event. If you are not able to make it, we please ask you to let one of the officers know ASAP. When we do events, we count on having a certain number of people present and it makes it hard when people do not show up, particularly when volunteering at an event that requires a certain number of people. To try and prevent this from happening, we deduct the same amount of points that the event would have been from that member’s accumulated points towards free graduation cords. We understand that things happen, we just ask that you let us know so we can continue making NSCS fun for everybody! Thanks!
