Anthony R. Gorges graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in both physics and chemistry. He came to Colorado State University to pursue his Ph. D. in physics in 2000. In 2001 he joined the magnetics group here at Colorado State University. His research is concerned primarily with Brillouin Light Scattering (BLS) investigations and improvements to the BLS system. Currently his efforts are being put into improving the BLS system, and he hopes soon to have everything running.
