Sarah Matthews is 16 and will be entering her senior year in Poudre Hich School, in the International Baccalaureate Program, this fall. She is a member of her schools Science Olympiad Team, which took fifth place at the national competition this year, and has also received second prize in the CSU Physics Bowl in the past two years. Academic honors she has received include the Dartmouth Book Award and Junior Science Student of the Year in 2002. Sarah is a devoted harpist and Harry Potter fan. She also enjoys swing dancing, reading, and watching Mel Brooks movies. And of course, she is thrilled to be working in the CSU magnetics lab through the REAP program this summer.
