Nan Mo graduated with B.S. in Mechanical Metrology (July 1993 at China Institute of Metrology) and M.S. in Quantum Metrology (July 1996 at National Institute of Metrology (NIM), China). And he worked for NIM in the next five years. His past focuses are mainly on the laser interferometer, establishment of mass standards and uncertainty analysis.

After he came to CSU, he shifted to physics and joined the Magnetic Group. His current research here is measurements of effective linewidth in HIPPED ferrites. He has some hobbies, e.g. table-tennis, chess.
