Class Projects

Each of you will be required to design, complete, and present a zooarchaeological research project as part of AP465.

The project will comprise 20% of your grade.

 

A list of project topics will be handed out on the first day of class as you "final exam" for the class.  A copy of this list is also available here.  You must select one of the three reseach topics or develop a proposal for another progect by February 2, 2001.

The results of the projects will be presented as a 10 page paper that is presented in American Antiquity format. The American Antiquity style guide is available on-line and you must use it

Projects may be either individual or co-authored. If co-authored, you must provide a additional table that clearly documents what aspects of the project were produced by each author.

Copies of all data files, documentation, etc. assembled from the CSU Anthropology collections must be turned in a the conclusion of the class to become part of the permanent record on file in the Center for Human Paleoecology.
