ADVICE on WRITING

There are two elements to writing a good history paper: FORM and CONTENT.

REWRITING AND REVISING

The process of rewriting and revising is necessary for writing a successful history paper. Please be aware of the difference between rewriting - a simple process of correcting errors and rearranging sentences - and revising, which is derived from the Latin word meaning "to see" (video) and the prefix that can mean "again" (re-). Revision is more than rewriting it is to see your paper in a different light and to write a new paper based on that new seeing.
