Snow Mountain Ranch |
What: This is the first big conference of the year. It's a joint conference with all of the IV chapters in Colorado and Wyoming. Whether you grew up going to church every week, or you're just checking this Jesus guy out, you will find yourself challenged and encouraged at Fall Conference. It's a fun time!
When: October 15-17, 2004 (plan to be at camp by 6 pm Friday night)
Where: Snow Mountain Ranch outside of Winter Park, CO
Cost: $72 ($32 deposit required to secure a spot).
Speaker: Kevin Blue - Kevin has worked with InterVarsity developing the Los Angeles Urban Project and teaching college students across the nation. Kevin also works with Servant Partners, a group dedicated to transforming Urban Communities through planting holistic churches.
Recreation: Snow Mountain Ranch has quite a bit to offer in terms of recreation. There is a rock wall, basketball, volleyball, roller-skating, hiking, swimming, and miniature golf. Be sure to bring tennis shoes, swimsuit, hiking boots – whatever you’ll need!
What to bring: Colorado is known for its extremes (not on either end of the year so much as at either end of the day). The higher you travel in the mountains the more that is true. So pack warm clothes that you can wear in layers (to peal off or pile on as the weather demands), toiletries, and a journal or notebook to write in.
