IJSC enters its third year in 2009 with a change in editors and new procedures for submissions.

Editorial Direction

Professor Derina Holtzhausen has assumed full responsibility as editor of the journal. In Fall 2008, she also became Director of the School of Journalism and Broadcasting at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla., USA.

Professor Holtzhausen now will be assisted by Prof. Dr. Ansgar Zerfass of the University of Leipzig in Germany. Professor Zerfass has agreed to serve as associate editor and European representative for the journal.

Founding co-editor Kirk Hallahan concluded his involvement with the production of Volume 2, Issue 4. He continues as professor at Colorado State University and wanted to pursue other interests. He will become a member of IJSC's Editorial Board.

Following the acquisition of the journal by Taylor & Francis (Routledge) from Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, IJSC also has a new web site at that can be accessed through Informaworld (www.informaworld.com/hstc) or Taylor & Francis's journals site at www.tandf.co.uk/journals/hstc.
