The Outdoor Club at CSU is a group for people with a strong interest & passion for the outdoors.
From casual hiking to ski mountaineering & everything in between, our members are active year round in a wide variety of outdoor activities.
All of our trips and are completely member led & organized. From month to month & week to week, our activities change with the weather. Here are some examples of our various interests:
- We begin every year with a ski destination trip. In 2009 we traveled to Whistler-Blackcomb in British Columbia.
- All through the rest of the winter we're out skiing & snowboarding at both the resorts and in the backcountry.
- During the spring and early summer, we organize hikes of various local mountain peaks every Thursday night.
- In the summer and fall we're out hiking and climbing up & over the mountains throughout the Rockies.
From beginner to expert, all levels of experience are welcome. If you share our passion for the outdoors & want to get involved, please feel free to come join us!
