Here is some general information:
The CSU Outdoor club is an informal group for people with a strong interest and passion for outdoor adventure.
The club is involved in:
hiking, rock climbing, backpacking, mountain biking,
downhill/backcountry/cross-country skiing, snowboarding,
snowshoeing, running, mountaineering, kayaking, and
much more.
Our organization is very informal and our trips are member led/organized
and we do everything for the lowest cost/price possible.
The CSU Outdoor Club club primarily serves as a place to get to know enthusiastic outdoor people in the CSU/Fort Collins community. The club acts more as a catalyst for trip planning than a place where you will find formally organized and "guided" trips.
From year to year activities planned by members will vary based on interests. Not all trips are advertised on the club mailing list, some are organized in an impromptu fashion at weekly meetings.
Every week (even in summer) we have an informal/social
gathering at Avogadro's Number at 605 South Mason Street.
We meet Wednesdays at approximately 9pm (+/- 15-30 minutes). The group meets to plan trips,
talk about outdoor adventures, or just hang out & be social.
We have a small, red first aid bag, that we put on the table
to identify our group.
Feel free to join us.
