This Bibliography was posted in January 2001. The compiler expects to make corrections throughout Spring 2001. Relevant additions will be included, as published. The purpose of this Bibliography is to provide students with a gateway to research, management and popular literature on topics related to the application of communications technology to public relations practice.
Listings are organized by type: key books, special reports and monographs, online resources, and articles and books on specialized topics. Entries are listed in reverse chronological order. Users should focus initial research on the most recently published items, then work backwards.
This list was compiled from various sources, including the principal public relations research journals. Entries were also culled from four major bibliographic data bases: OCLC's First Search (incorporating ABI Inform, Periodical Abstracts and Wilson Select), the Dialog database (provided by Colorado Association of Research Libraries), Uncover, and PsychInfo. Users should not assume this list is complete, but should conduct detailed data base searchers on specific topics of interest to them.
Users are encouraged to submit corrections and additions to the compiler.
