A bio, or personality profile, is a one- or two-page backgrounder written about a newsmaker or spokesperson for an organization.
Your assignment is to write a one-page (250 words) bio about yourself. The news hook: You have been nominated for consideration as the top junior (or senior) in public relations at Colorado State. (Identify what you think might be a reasonable award/gift to accompany this accolade!)
What should you say? What are your career aspirations? What have you done to prepare yourself for your career? You'll want to blend basic biographical information with anecdotes, quotes or other ideas that would make your story of interest to people in public relations or concerned about successful CSU graduates.
