Logistics
At first you'll be represented by the units of 21st Panzer, except for
the 192 PzGrenadier Regiment, which will be offboard, and the
reconnaissance battalion, which will show up as reinforcements. You'll
have to place everything else onboard somewhere, before the bombardment
starts. You'll also have a battalion of Luftwaffe infantry. The
scenario starts about where the narrative leaves off, and you don't know
the disposition of any of your units.
My suggestion would be to have Dallace set up the initial forces (on
map) and play Becker's Assault Gun Battalion 200. Jeff will play von
Luck (not having read the book, it should be fun) and will run whatever
he can get ahold of. Dallace will run reinforcements. Unless you guys
have a better idea.
After calling for reinforcements, HQ will send 1st SS Pz and perhaps 12th
SS Pz, though it'll be a few hours before they arrive.
Your mission is to foil the British offensive. von Luck will have to hold
out as best he can before reinforcements arrive.
