Goals
The Truth Agency seeks to find quality truths that are immutable and will define the status of truth in the eyes of government officials and educational specialists. To that end the agency will investigate claims made regardless of the qualifications of the individuals, acknowledging that truth is to be found in many points of view. In fact, the agency plans to validate most conspiracy theories, as the truth is often found in renegade thinkers and people with hidden agendas. Check back often for updates to truths that we have determined precise and see how these truths will be integrated into the media, schools and daily life.

Opportunities
The National Truth Agency is looking for a few good men and women. As the newest federal organization, we are rapidly filling our ranks with people that have the skills necessary to define and determine truths. If you have a belief in paranormal, mysterious and unconfirmable then you belong in the NTA. We are an equal opportunity employer offering competitive benefits and an excellent retirement package. Stop by your local NTA office today and fill out an application. The truth is out there and you can help determine it.

First Annual National Truth Award
The National Truth Agency announces that Stephen Colbert is the recipient of the First Annual National Truth Award for his service to the nation in the propagation of the importance of truth. In his tireless promotion of the concept of "truthiness" Mr. Colbert has raised the awareness of the importance of truth and that truth and facts are not necessarily the same. There are government truths that are unattached to a perceived factual basis and thus such statements are substantiated by truthiness. In its press release, The American Dialect Society states, "truthiness refers to the quality of stating concepts or facts one wishes or believes to be true, rather than concepts or facts known to be true. As Stephen Colbert put it, 'I don’t trust books. They're all fact, no heart.'"

Director Duper, when awarding the medal, commented, "We need more Americans like Mr. Colbert - not afraid to speak the truth and stand by it even in the face of other facts." Other nominees for this year's award included Capt. Johnathan Tuttle, U.S. Army (ret.),Charles Ponzi, Tino De Angelis, and James Frey.
