Each year, toward the end of the spring semester, Hui O Hawaii hosts its biggest event - LU'AU! Through this event, Hui O Hawaii is better able to share Hawaii's culture and history by way of dances, music, stories, facts, people, and of course, food. But the event itself proves to be only the grand finale to the months of hard work, preparation, and planning on behalf of the Hui members, themselves. Lu'au provides a valuable opportunity for members and non-members to gain leadership experiance, while working together and strengthening the feeling of ohana, or family, within the club and in the community.
