(Mouse over red links, below, for further information) This was a banner year for on-the-ground work in the Winiger Ridge project. Left: USFS Good Neighbor Projects began to pay dividends for mountain homeowners and product for the US Forest Service. The market utilization effort also saw several more efforts to attract small business operators to opportunities in using environmentally sensitive wood products, and a bio-energy task force begun in Nederland.

A series of meetings and tours were held for the Monitoring and Evaluation Team. \|	The weed effort took place on most all public and private lands with volunteers forest crews and Boulder County inmates utilized for this "pulling only" effort. This project, derived from citizen participation and requests saw some of the first product produced directly from the Winiger Ridge project and the USFS's Good Neighbor Program. Thinning was completed by the USFS fire crew and Americorps volunteers. The lodgepole product was hauled to Nederland by the CSFS where is was assembled into buck 'n' rail fencing for USFS projects. \| Grant Administrator hired Projects initiated	A Bioenergy Task Force was initiated in Nederland, with a first goal of providing heat to the community center. A Small Diameter Marketing & Utilization Opportunities Workshop was held in Boulder with top USFS and CSFS experts. \|
