Layout and Lighting Plan

The purpose of the layout (and dimensioning plan) and, in this case, lighting plan is to accurately locate elements in respect to their horizontal relationship to known points or lines. The layout plan will also be the drawing on which to reference many of the details. All of the various site elements, with the exception of specific grading details and specific planting details, will be called out on the layout plan.

1. prepared on a base sheet including a north arrow and a scale
2. include all (exact location) existing site features that remain in the proposed design
3. include all (exact location) proposed structural features (pavement, walls. curbs, permanent objects, etc.)
4. indicate the source of the base information (city, civil engineer, etc.)
