I live in the southern part of Colorado in the San Luis Valley. Look for the towns of Alamosa, Antonito, and Monte Vista. The Rio Grande rivers begins here in the northern part of the San Luis Valley. It is also the place where you can find the Great Sand Dunes National Monument.
