Frequently Asked Questions Q: When I submitted my manuscript, I was told to wait 8-10 weeks to receive a decision. Its been almost that long, and I am getting anxious to hear the decision. Can I contact JPRR to expedite the decision process? A: We update our files at least once a week, and one priority is getting decisions to authors in a timely fashion. That being said, sometimes it takes more than 8 to 10 weeks to complete a final decision. We work with reviewers, authors, and deadlines to keep the review process running as efficiently and smoothly as possible for all parties.
