The official ACF weekly Soup Night program is no longer running.

What is Soup Night?

Soup Night is a weekly event meant to foster community and build friendships among CSU students. Each week, soup is served in the International House kitchen, along with other food such as some type of bread, crackers, and cookies. Soup Night is totally free -- no strings attached. Anyone is welcome to come.

Food Served

All the food served at Soup Night is vegetarian, meaning that it has no animal meat of any kind. The food may contain cheese, milk, or eggs however. Some of the soups that have been served in the past include chili, vegetable soup, 'chicken' noodle soup (vegetarian chicken seasoning), tomato soup, and cheese soup. Breads such as whole wheat, rolls, and corn bread are often served. And usually, there are some cookies or other dessert. Drinks such as water and hot chocolate are also available. Purpose

The reason we are doing this is to spread kindness, for friendship, and for fun. The purpose of Soup Night is simply to build community and provide a forum for students and other members of the CSU community to socialize. The sponsors view this event as a gift to the student community, not an opportunity to proselytize or convert people. As such, there will be no lecturers or preaching at Soup Night. We just hope that you will come and enjoy a warm meal, make new friends, and receive some kindness to pass on to someone else.
