New Student Events

August 19 - We'll be there to help you move in if you're moving into in Ingersol, Edwards and Parmalee.

August 20 - Look for us at the Lory Student Center (LSC) East Plaza outside between 1030am-130pm.  We will also be hosting a "Texas Hold 'Em Poker" night in the Lory Student Center Room 220-222 from 7pm - 10pm.  We'll teach you to play if you've never played and provide some solid competition if your a pro!

August 21 - We'll come meet you in person if you filled out an interest card. We'll also be hanging around and organizing events in Ingersoll, Edwards and Parmalee. We'll leave a flyer for you or let you know in person when we meet and what's going on. Let us know if you need a ride to Walmart, someone to go to dinner with, someone to show you how and where to buy books, or if anything else comes up. We'd be glad to help! (In fact, the webmaster adds, if you miss being around little kids and would like to babysit....) ;-)

August 22 - We're throwing a BBQ where you can meet others involved and interested in InterVarsity. Come for food and fun! You'll find us at near the corner of Plum and Meridian between 4 pm and 7 pm. We'll tell you more about our ministry there.

August 23 - We'll have tables inside the LSC at the Flea Market area by the bookstore from 9am-3pm.  Come by to fill out an interest card, so that we can get you connected with a Small Group!  We'll also have brochures and free books!

August 31 - September 2 - Our first small groups will meet in Ingersoll, Edwards and Parmalee. We'll introduce you to each other, our topic of study and style of studying Scripture. After that  we will continue meeting weekly in Small Groups and have occasional all chapter events.
