Photo Contest - 2008

Submit a photo to the FRSES 2008 Photo Contest! This informal contest is a fun way to show us where you've been and what you've done in your experiences conducting ecological research. Prizes will be awarded to the best photos in each category.

Photos will be on display throughout the day on Wednesday, February 27. Ballot box voting by FRSES participants will determine the winners. Categories will be determined based on the nature and number of this year's submissions. Check out our Gallery to review last year's categories and submissions.

Contest guidelines:
1) Open to any student participant or presenter at FRSES 2008. One entry per person.
2) Photos directly related to your research or fieldwork experiences are preferred.
3) Minimum recommended resolution: 1000 x 1400 pixels for 5" x 7" prints (although most lower resolution photos will still look pretty good, down to about 600 x 800 pixels).
4) The deadline to submit your photo is February 21, 2008.

To enter:
Use the form below to tell us about your photo. Then, submit your digital or scanned photo in *.jpeg file format to ecosym@lamar.colostate.edu, and write "photo entry" in the subject line. Use your name for the *.jpeg file name so we can keep track of your submission. We will take care of printing and displaying your photo.

You will receive email confirmation (normally within one business day) if your photo file and form information were received.

Terms and Conditions: By submitting your entry to the FRSES Photo Contest, you agree that all digital images received become the property of FRSES. These images may be used by FRSES for our website, advertising, or other symposium promotions, but will not be distributed or published for any other purpose without the author's permission.
