President: April Mendenhall

Greetings all CHA fans! My name is April Mendenhall. I am a Senior Equine Science, Creative Writing double major with a minor in Business and I will soon be adding a third Animal Science Major! I've ridden horses all my life and I love to train and give lessons. I show in many different levels, from 4-H to breed showing. I'm currently working on training a new BLM mustang, which I've never done before.

I'm super excited about this year. We have a lot of fun activities planned and events to participate in. I look forward to meeting all of you soon!

Secretary: Katie August

I'm Katie August, this year's Secretary. I'm a Sophomore Equine Science/ Agricultural Business double major. I'm originally from California where I was first taught to ride Dressage. Since I have moved to Colorado, I've been introduced to Jumping, Trail Riding, Western Riding, Western Pleasure, and I love them all! I won two of my own horses, Pete, a Morgan Horse, and Cookie, my Quarter Horse, who live with my parents in Longmont, Colorado. I am looking forward to an amazing year with CHA, and I can't wait to get to know everyone that wishes to get involved! Happy Trails!

Treasurer: Jessica Stockton

Hey everyone. My name is Jessica Stockton and I am a native to Northern
Colorado. I have lived in Fort Collins all of my life but I have traveled to
almost all 50 states and drove through half of Canada. I grew up in all
parts of the equine industry. You name it and I have probably experienced or
witnessed it first hand, not that that's a good thing... My family raises
Shires and crossbreds and I have been driving  draft horses since I could
hold onto the lines. My family has been in the equine business in some form
for many generations. I am a sophomore with a double major in Landscape
Architecture and Landscape horticulture with a concentration in design. My
advice to you is to get involved because the club is a member driven club
and would not exist without you.  I look forward to meeting you all and
having a good time!

Information Director: Dawn Bush

Hi, my name is Dawn Bush and I am one of two Information Directors this year. I am a Sophomore Mechanical Engineering Major from rite here in Fort Collins, Colorado. Like anybody who loves horses, I love the outdoors and just about everything you can do outdoors. I also love sports, music, cars (working on them too), and much more. I've ridden mostly Western Pleasure and Trail though I have taken some English and Jumping lessons and I have learned the basics of driving. I've also done some training in the past. Information Director: Julie Eiguren

Hi, my name is Julie Eiguren. I am from a small town in Eastern Oregon near the Idaho/Nevada border. I grew up on a cattle ranch and have been around horses all my life and have four of my own. When I was younger I rodeoed and am hoping to get back into it. I love all animals especially my sheep and my new baby filly. I also enjoy watching and playing sports and doing pretty much anything outdoors. I transferred to CSU last fall and am a senior double majoring in Equine Science and Ag Business Management. I hope to use my degrees and return to an Ag related job and raise my own horses. If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me, I would love to hear from you!

I have three horses, one of which is up here at school with me, and a new puppy, Zip, which I'm sure all of you will meet. I like to barrel race, team rope, and team pen. I also enjoy trail riding, and this last summer I took a three week pack trip down the Colorado Trail where we rode about 200 miles.
