Fast Track to Work: Scholarship Program
For Graduate Students in Computer Science,
Engineering, & Mathematics

National Science Foundation

Colorado State University

Process objectives

1 Forty (40) graduate students meeting the Fast Track eligibility criteria (GAANN-eligible) will receive a scholarship of $3125 per year.

2 95% of recipients will complete required activities to maintain progress toward their
degree and transition into a CSEM career.

Outcome objectives

1 At the end of each semester, 95% of recipients will be on schedule: master's scholarship recipients will have graduated or be on schedule to finish their degree within 2 years of beginning, and Ph.D. students will be on schedule to complete their coursework within 2 years, or will be on schedule to complete their comprehensives, their dissertation, or will have graduated.

2 95% of graduated scholarship recipients will be placed in CSEM employment or will continue into a CSEM Ph.D. program immediately after graduation.

The Fast Track program will be involved in developing at least three new opportunities among the CSEM departments for graduate students to connect with projects that strengthen ties between CSU and the private sector.
