Colorado State University in collaboration with the
University of Colorado at Boulder, as the principal
institution, has formed the Colorado PEAKS Alliance
for Graduate Education and the Professoriate Program,
which will enhance and improve the way that underrepresented
doctoral students are recruited, retained and graduated
in the state.
A five-year cooperative agreement, funded through
the National Science Foundation (NSF), Alliance for
Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) program;
administered by the graduate school; to increase (triple)
the number of underrepresented students receiving doctoral
degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
(STEM) fields.
Total funding of $2.5 Million over 5 years - $500K
per year ($200 K CSU, $300K CU-Boulder)
